Brian grew up in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. He has spent nearly nine years of his life abroad including a year in Southern Africa, six years in South Korea as an ESL textbook writer, and trips to more than 60 other countries. He's the author of "Stranger in a Strangerler Land: My Six Years in Korea," and is seeking representation for his new travel memoir, "When a Stolen Child Returns: A Black American Teen Finds Liberation in Southern Africa." Presently, Brian teaches the Theory of Knowledge in a high-needs high school just outside of New Orleans. He’ll also be featured in an upcoming Discovery+ documentary from the producers of "Three Identical Strangers". In his free time, he's a Mardi Gras DJ with a JD and lives with his fiancee’ and her temperamental cat.
